I just got threatened by a taxi driver because I refused to be cheated on the fare. AND he threatened to drive off with my groceries.
Listen, sunshine, don’t even THINK about threatening my groceries. Don’t even think about it by accident or subconsciously. Because you will spend the rest of your life regretting that you were ever born.
I change my ringtones a lot. Last week, it was Doctor Who (4th Doctor). The week before, it was Amish Paradise. Before that, Ziggy Stardust. This week, it’s the Overture from Phantom.
A few days ago, a woman overheard my ringtone and smiled when she recognized it. Today was the opposite. I was in the chaotic looooooong line for my half-price Frappucino and my phone rang. The woman next to me turned, listened for a second, then recognized the music…and immediately gave me…or, more precisely, gave my phone an intensely hateful look.
